Celebrated an anniversary dinner at Lemaire recently. Have always loved the Jefferson for its rich history, architecture and historic Richmond feel. The restaurant is located near the hotel check-in area and has a very active/popular bar right outside of the dining area. This can be highly trafficked on a Friday evening during happy hour, but we were able to find a place to sit and have a drink before our reservation. Wait staff was helpful and kind. As with most public areas of the Jefferson, the bar and restaurant have wonderful high ceilings and mouldings that create great ambiance and character of the hotel.

I usually come here once in a month to get my favorite drink. Lady at the front counter remembered my name and my order, very thoughtful. The food and beverages here are delicious and the service is unmatched. I definitely recommend this place to all of my friends and coworkers.

The Roosevelt is next level. The menu is small, but everything is amazing. We ordered the baked chicken and it was cooked to perfection. The flavors are outrageous. The same can be said for their signature cocktails!Don't forget to ask for the dessert menu :)

The food was good. However they need to step up their game. Richmond has many other wonderful restaurants where the meals are more delicious. The hotel was gorgeous and nothing compares to its holiday ambiance.

The food was delicious. The setting is rich in history. You can feel comfortable dressing up (though some people still wear jeans 🙄). While the wait staff was attentive, I was surprised that our waiter never offered the drink menu back after we finished our first drinks, even with the empty glasses moved to the edge of the table. If asked, I likely would have gotten a glass of wine to go along with my meal after I finished my cocktail, but didn't feel strongly enough to call the waiter out on it. Anyway, this is more of a 4.5 because we have had great experiences in the past too.

Nice restaurant! The place is incredibly beautiful, elegant, and cozy. The food was delicious from the appetizers to the dessert, the creme brulee was my favorite, good portions, expensive? Yes but worth it once in a while.
